Hold-a-Pole (laser cutting)
My first little project with laser cutting: A simple pole-holder for surveying. It is screwed onto a tripod, ans stabilises a surveying pole leveled on a surveyign monument point.
A description of the use can be found here.
Laser cutting 5 mm Duplex wood were laser cyu twith the Trotec Speedy 100.
Two layers glued on top of each other, the upper layer has a cutout fitting a 5/8-11 UNC nut, which fits ontop standard surveying tripods. Two test cuttings were done to fit the nut exactly.
