Hello!

Last week I tried for the fisrt time the Trotec Speedy 100 laser cutter. Since I didn't know, I brought a foam board which has both sides covered with paper to use with it. As it turned out the laser melts the foam board, making it not an appropriate material for laser cut. However some foam types are suitable for this laser cutter: Polyester (PES), Polyethylene (PE), Polyurethane (PUR) and Neopren®.

I wanted to cut the shapes of a chair in a miniature scale to test how it would work. So I used a sheet of very thin cardboard instead and later I glued the shapes together:

I am really enthusiastic about all the possibilities and everything that can be created with the Laser cutter. Next time I will bring timber boards. Thank you all for the attention given.
